Like squirrels we keep a wholesome supply of food for thought for times when our situation is bleak.
Once we have learned the lesson that a bad experience has taught us this is the only part that the mind wishes to remember.

2. Let me always remember that more of my patients will recover despite me than because of me.
3. Let me never make a patient worse by my treatment and always remember, ‘fools rush in where angels fear to tread’ or, ‘ should I mess this up by myself or call in an expert?’
