The greatest arrogance man can show is to claim that he is formed in the image of God.
In the past great artists pandered to the Church (that paid the bill) by portraying what it wanted the people to see.
If you want to see arrogance still active today you have no need to look further than the Christian Church or any so called Religious Order that still holds on like grim death to every nuance that could enhance their power over the ignorant masses of decent people that need something to believe in.
The sad thing is they only need to believe in themselves to be saved.
No Christian Church will tell them that simple fact.
Why not? Because they need the lost ‘ to pay the way.’
